Driving AI Value & Operational Excellence

Mikael Præstegaard

At AIdvisory, Mikael Præstegaard Fredsted brings two decades of experience in IT service management, global service delivery and organisational transformation. His career began as an IT management consultant and moved into senior leadership at Maersk Drilling and LEO Pharma, where he led global IT operations, service management and Global Business Services, i.e., enterprise-wide service organisations. He has built, scaled and transformed service organisations across Europe and Asia, from greenfield nearshore and captive farshore setups to strategic transformation of established setups.

Mikael has led leaders for more than a decade, in direct and matrix structures. He sets direction, defines guiding principles and service frameworks, and delivers by anchoring responsibility in the organisation. He has been strategic process owner for ITIL processes and has driven service excellence and continuous service improvement (CSI) teams across international organisations. He has also been ServiceNow system owner and implementation lead. His track record includes structural cost reductions of 20-25%, assisted captive delivery centres in India and the Philippines, and a service desk benchmarked as best in class by Gartner and Deloitte.

At AIdvisory, Mikael focuses on the foundation that makes AI work in service organisations: simplified and standardised processes, reliable data, clear ownership and governance, and a service culture that adopts the change. His latest assignment was within a large transport and logistics organisation, assessing their ITSM AI readiness foundation and organisational maturity in the IT function.

Peter Ravnholt is a senior Governance and Service Management consultant with around two decades of experience in service management, operating models, governance and digital transformation. His career combines strategic advisory with hands-on implementation, helping complex organisations turn digital strategy into practical solutions that work in day-to-day operations. Peter has worked across logistics, energy, pharma, utilities, healthcare and the public sector. He has led ServiceNow teams and cross-functional service management programmes, designing and implementing the processes, workflows, service catalogues, data structures and responsibility models that make service delivery clear, measurable and sustainable.
